Overview
Florida Career College was originally founded as Florida Programming and Educational Center, Inc. First offering classes in Miami in 1982, school changed its names to the Florida Computer and Business School in 1990. Since then, the college has greatly expanded its offering as well as its student body, and it now offers a courses ranging from Information Technology to Health and Medical programs.

Student Appeal
Florida Career College offers student support through the Career Services Center. Students can get whatever help they need to find a job upon graduation, including resume help and interview practice. Students have the chance to interact with a high quality faculty, and there are campuses all over Florida for students to choose from. Each school offers large, comfortable classrooms equipped with PC and Mac computers, medical labs and a resource center.

Program Offered:


  • This program offers students interested in professional leadership roles, the opportunity to develop skills and strategies for effective business management.

  • The Associate of Science Health Insurance Billing and Coding Degree program provides students with an excellent foundation in billing and coding and the necessary skills and knowledge for performing manual and computerized tasks expected of medical billers and coders. Students will be prepared to work in many different settings within healthcare.

  • Graduates are prepared to have a successful career in the accounting profession. This program provides students with the knowledge skills and ability for to make managerial financial decisions in a business environment.

  • Students develop an advanced knowledge of business and management. Career opportunities include business manager, human resource personnel, entrepreneur, and office administrator.

  • Students develop core management and information systems courses necessary to lead successful careers in both areas. Additional study in advanced technical courses including computer forensics and database management systems, help to exposed students to the knowledge needed to succeed in professions as network administrators, technology coordinators, system analysts, or technology security specialists.
