BS Business

I am in the middle of my BS Business degree with Kaplan, and I have absolutely loved my learning experience. The professors are very helpful, caring and more excited about teaching than many professors I've had at traditional schools. The school work is challenging, but not impossible. The books are included in the cost of tuition, which helps to offset the higher price of online learning tremendously, although the books are Kaplan versions, so you cannot resell them at the end of the term, unlike some other schools and classes. I've always found the Academic Advisors to be very helpful and supportive. Student Accounts are reasonable, and Technical Support is helpful and friendly. Financial Aid is a mess - I've been with the school for 2 years and I have had 12 Financial Aid Officers (1-2 different FAOs per term). Financial Aid has been my only complaint, but I have never been suspended from classes due to it, or had any trouble other than having to figure out my own Awards Letter (which, as a BSB, I can do easily), and call in to get them to accept the disbursements from my student loans. Overall, Kaplan has been an excellent experience for me.

Kaplan U is a ok school, however I do believe especially at this campus there are some major problems, first of all if your reading this you need to be aware of the fact that Kaplan does not tell you everything right up front, and that you only find out about things after u are here for awhile, financial aid is difficult at best here the people are just so darn difficult to deal with, then when it comes time to receive your stipend they forget to tell you that you need a certain percentage to recieve your money, they act like they own that at times, Overall the instuctors are ok here, however I have dealt with some really nasty ones that don't take the time to talk about things, especially when you only have 9 weeks in a term that can be difficult at times, It is extremely fast paced here, which is a good thing because you can have a degree i n 18 months, which is a short amount of time, however since it has been so fast paced you do feel burned out and just get tired of it real easy, I'm almost done with my Associate's degree, and have already been approached by the recruiters to go here for my BA, however since I have felt so disappointed with Kaplan I will not get my Ba from this school and as far as my recommendation for future students of Kaplan I say to use alot of caution when considering this school because you may not get what you pay for.

I searched the internet for the best online college and found Kaplan University Online as the best online university to study management. I got the Bachelor of Science in Business after completing my curriculum there. It was a very much business oriented course. It covered all aspects of the modern business. We used cds, audio visual tools to learn, group discussion, learning techniques etc. The classmates and professors are very much co-operative.

I graduated from Kaplan University and I have nothing but great things to say about the University. I have attended a brick and mortar university and also the online setting and I find them very similar in terms of level of education.
I have never had a problem with the financial aid staff, quite the contrary. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. The classes start out easy for some and then progress into the higher level courses which are very difficult.
You need to have self discipline, organization and be self motivated to be a successful student. I don’t really get the students that go to this school and then quit, doesn’t really make sense, maybe you’re not a good student. Who enrolls into a University and then quits after a couple of classes there’s a reason why you don’t have a degree. Quit making excuses and ruining it for the students that have graduated and will graduate just because you couldn’t deal with the classes and environment and lack of financial aid understanding!
